What it's like to be a Rec student at UVU

1. all the students within the same 2 years of joining know each other really well.
2. We have classes like experiential education and we play games every class-technically we're learning how to facilitate and instruct others and get feedback...details, details.
3. Becuase of all these games, we know eachother really really well.
4. We have projects to work on outside of class and it's no big deal-for example: for our visitor behavior class, we have to go up AF canyon and ask people in the area to take a survey. 5 of us did this today, and since it was quite cold up the canyon, we sat in my car playing catch phrase while we waited to see people.
5. We are all 100% comfortable with each other and nothing is embarassing
6. We bring breakfast for everyone when we have early classes (8:30 am)
7. We have rec student socials at professor's houses and swimming pools, etc.

Yeah, it's pretty much the best major ever!
