I want to get away, I wanna fly away!!!!

Well, thankfully, i got a chance to get away! Kristen needed to go to california to look for an apartment for her and her hubby once he gets back from his deployment. So, we made the drive out there; didn't get to really see the best part of california till the next day. But anyway, after the job was done we went to the beach. The water was actually really warm. For some reason, the ocean makes me feel at home...even though i didn't grow up with it....but, everytime i leave the ocean, i leave a piece of me behind. Something about the waves, the water flowing in at your ankles, the impressions left in the sand, and the view of the ocean never ending...it's all just perfect. It was also fun to spend some time with Kristen again. Being with her is so easy. The drive to cali, my face honestly, and seriously, hurt from smiling and laughing. She's the bestest, and i hope we're friends forever. Moving on...ok, there are only a couple weeks left in the semester...WHAT?! i know! It's kind of crazy how fast time goes. I have a lot of assignments, papers, tests and projects on the horizon, but i can do it. I'm so stoked for thanksgiving break! I can't wait to be home for 5 whole days! Nothing like home! My ipod is all loaded and ready for christmas music to start playing tomorrow! November 17th is my mom's birthday, and that's when the holiday's officially begin, so get ready people!
